The International Conference of Undergraduate Research

Undergraduate research on the global stage

Ben Hayday

25th January 2021 by ICUR Web Admin

Ben Hayday studied Politics and International Studies at the University of Warwick, where he was also the Academic Officer of the Politics Society. Ben as an ICUR Student Director, worked to organise this year’s academic conference. He became involved with ICUR because he was keen to see the international community collaborating on both the big and the small issues. With academics around the world drawing different conclusions and focusing on different issues, it seemed that there was never been such a great time to connect the next generation of researchers. Ben was keen to see the 2017 conference feature as great a diversity of disciplines as possible, so the delegates come away with an expanded repertoire of approaches to understanding the world around them.
