The International Conference of Undergraduate Research

Undergraduate research on the global stage

Fernando Nodal

3rd February 2022 by ICUR Web Admin

As a Chemistry student who aims to pursue a career in research, ICUR has played a fundamental role in my university experience. I have been part of the ICUR team since 2020, when I joined as Session Chair. At ICUR 2021, I also delivered my own presentation, on the functionalisation and stabilisation of organoarsenic nanoparticles. Now, I am proud to be one of your Student Directors for 2022. ICUR allowed me to connect with a diverse community of enthusiastic and hardworking people, and to learn how interdisciplinarity and communication sit at the forefront of innovation stories. For the past two years, it has been extremely rewarding to see state-of-the-art undergraduate research being showcased and celebrated; now, I wish to keep inspiring young and talented students to share their voices with the world.
