The International Conference of Undergraduate Research

Undergraduate research on the global stage

Zaamia Arif

3rd January 2022 by ICUR Web Admin

I’m Zaamia Arif, a third-year History student at the University of Warwick. Research skills lay at the core of my degree, and through honing these skills I have been able to critically analyse the modern world and develop innovative perspectives on global issues. Throughout my time at university, I have been involved in running conferences, particularly as last year’s Co-President of Warwick Congress. During my time in the society, I enjoyed working in cross-border teams to organise thought-provoking panels, keynotes, and careers events for students. ICUR has enabled me to continue developing this skillset, and work towards developing a global conference which allows students to share their valuable research projects.
