The International Conference of Undergraduate Research

Undergraduate research on the global stage

Iris Brandon

26th January 2024 by ICUR Web Admin

I’m Iris Brandon – a final year Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) student at the University of Warwick, and an ICUR Student Director since 2022. As a PPE student, I find ICUR’s central value of interdisciplinary particularly exciting; the most rewarding aspect of ICUR so far has been facilitating students from different backgrounds with different academic interests to find links between topics and share thoughts, ideas, and perspectives. Connecting with student researchers at our conferences has shown me how valuable and important undergraduate research can be. This year, I hope to expand the opportunities and impact of our delegate’s research here at ICUR.
